
Chris Devlin is an American Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer. He is the Artistic Director of Workspace Hollywood - A creative space for Actors, Writers and Directors headed by Executive Producer/Director Howie (Howard) Deutch. The space is host to actors of caliber, series regulars, film and television directors, writers and producers. His vision for Workspace is The Public meets Steppenwolf while dating RADA.
He has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry starting as a Director in film school and winning multiple film festivals including Washington DC's ROSEBUD for LITTLE RED. He has worked on both sides of the camera in almost every department except hair and makeup but there's still time. He has coached actors to Starring roles in studio films, Series Regulars, Recurring, Guest Stars for over 12 years. He spent over 15 years with Milton Kateselas as an actor/director and taught Milton's Play and Screenplay analysis class WHAT'S THIS PLAY ABOUT for 5 years at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. He was also Milton's assistant director on many of his works including CARNAL KNOWLEDGE with Burt Reynolds and Catherine Bell (JAG). He has directed critically acclaimed productions of BANG, BANG YOU’RE DEAD (extended indefinately until he ran out of cast), Shanley’s THE BIG FUNK, HENRY V, THE NOSE, among others.
As an actor he has over 80 film and TV credits. He is best known on TV for BEEF Season 2, THE UPSHAWS, ANGEL. UNPRISONED, 9-1-1, SHAMELESS, GOOD TROUBLE, MAD MEN, CRIMINAL MINDS, WORKAHOLICS, BLUNT TALK, and WITHOUT A TRACE. Film: AUGGIE with Richard Kind, STATE OF WARd with Dean Cain, Howard K. Stern in ANNA NICOLE w/ Willa Ford, WINDTALKERS, HERS, THE WAGER with Burt Young. Chris graduated Suma Cum Laude from Towson State University in Baltimore and got a perfect score on the LSAT but decided against law school.
For fun Chris is a 2024 Crossfit Games Quarter Finalist & and in 2025 he was in the top 12% in the world for category, on and off road triathlete, award-winning painter (winner of 2025 Los Angeles Open juried competition), mountain biker, cyclist, outdoorsman. photographer, motorcyclist, bass player in the band LONGSHOT, Sketch, Stand Up Comedy & Improv artist.
